  1. Eligibility: Only projects completed within Manitoba, Canada, between January 1, 2018, and December 31, 2023, are eligible for submission to the Manitoba Masonry Awards 2024.
  2. Entry Requirements: Each project entry must include accurate and complete information, including project name, location, architect/designer/engineer and a detailed description of the masonry work involved.
  3. Project entered in previous Manitoba Masonry Awards are ineligible for re-entry.
  4. Multiple Entries: Participants may submit multiple project entries; however, each entry must be unique and distinct from others previously submitted.
  5. Withdrawal of Entry: Participants may request to withdraw their project entry by providing a written notice to the Manitoba Masonry Awards committee before the judging process begins.
  6. Entries must be submitted no later than April 30, 2024 11:59pm in order to be considered for the 2024 awards.
  7. Ownership and Authorization: By submitting a project entry, the entrant confirms ownership or appropriate authorization to share the project information, including photographs, plans, and other related materials, for the purpose of the Manitoba Masonry Awards 2024.
  8. Submission Deadline: All project entries must be submitted by the specified deadline, which will be communicated on the official awards website. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  9. Judging Process: The judging panel, comprising industry experts, will evaluate the project entries based on specified criteria, including design excellence, craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability.
  10. Confidentiality: The Manitoba Masonry Awards organizing committee and judges will treat all submitted project information with confidentiality. However, participants should understand that their project details may be shared publicly for promotional or educational purposes.
  11. Award Categories: Projects will be categorized based on type and purpose, as defined by the awards committee. Entrants should select the appropriate category for their project entry.
  12. Award Presentation: Winners will be announced and awarded during the Manitoba Masonry Awards ceremony. Participants may be required to attend the event or send a representative to accept the award.
  13. Rights and Permissions: By submitting a project entry, the entrant grants the Manitoba Masonry Awards 2024 the right to use submitted materials for promotional purposes, including but not limited to online platforms, print media, and exhibitions.
  14. Copyright and Intellectual Property: Participants retain the copyright and intellectual property rights of their project entry. However, by submitting the entry, participants grant the Manitoba Masonry Awards committee a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the materials for promotional and educational purposes.
  15. Liability: The Manitoba Masonry Awards 2024 and its organizers will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the submission process or the evaluation of project entries.
  16. Indemnity: Participants shall indemnify and hold harmless the Manitoba Masonry Awards committee, its organizers, judges, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to the project entry or participation in the awards program.
  17. Non-Endorsement: Winning an award or participating in the Manitoba Masonry Awards does not imply endorsement or guarantee of the participant's services or products by the Manitoba Masonry Awards committee or its affiliates.
  18. Governing Law: The terms and conditions, as well as any disputes arising from the Manitoba Masonry Awards, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Manitoba, Canada.
  19. Severability: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  20. Modifications: The Manitoba Masonry Awards committee reserves the right to modify or update the terms and conditions as necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes through official communication channels.
  21. Disqualification: The awards committee reserves the right to disqualify any project entry that violates the eligibility criteria, submission requirements, or terms and conditions outlined herein.
  22. Acceptance of Terms: By submitting a project entry, the entrant acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms and conditions set forth for the Manitoba Masonry Awards 2024.
